Hello Readers! I have a huge announcement today.
Thank you all for being such a huge part of my life. You’ve witnessed my life unfold as I’ve matured over these last 5 years, and have observed all my nasty tantrums, mood swings, hormonal rages, etc. So woe to the man who proposed lols. Here he is now 🙂
Again thank you all for sharing your time with me. Here are (phone) pics from yesterday’s San Francisco Street Food Festival that took place in the Mission. Put on by La Cocina, I thought the event was a huge success. Six city blocks and over 80 food vendors. I thought the event was going to be a logistical nightmare (like GoogaMooga in Brooklyn), but it went really smoothly. From the bathroom situation, to the watering holes, and even the big-named stands (Slanted Door, Blue Bottle Coffee, etc) – all the lines moved pretty swiftly. I was never bored while in line either – lots to see and ooh and ahh over. I highly recommend going next year if you can.
Spicy Ribs from To Hyang
Fried Chicken & Sriracha Butter Sauce from Slanted Door
The cute chefs working the Slanted Door stand
Pork Belly Sandwich & Jambalaya from Good Foods Catering
Squash Blossom Quesadilla
Bean, Pork and Cheese Pupusa
Salted Caramel Ice Cream from Bi-Rite
Thank you for being a part of my big weekend. I will catch up with you soon!
PS. For those curious about the proposal… it was in Half Moon Bay by the beach right off Highway 1. Complete with fog and sunset and crashing waves. Perfect.
